Websites are very important to businesses large or small. And many businesses are unleashing the power of an intranet for their team – so we offer quality solutions in both these web based realms. We don't claim to be experts across this expansive field but know enough - and more importantly work with several leading web companies - to be able to provide our clients with cost-effective websites and intranets. Websites

We offer website design and development, search engine optimisation (SEO), search engine marketing (SEM - like Google AdWords) and content managed solutions (CMS – e.g. if you would like to update the images and words in your website, you can do it yourself using a CMS).

 

Firstly we provide you with a proposal for your website and once you are happy with the scope, fixed fee and timeline we have outlined – we start planning your website together. As you can see from the list below, our sites are custom designed (not by us, but by the designers we work with, as we have no style – we are Engineers!!). This means you provide the direction for the design of the website (via a design brief document we ask you to complete), and our web designers provide you an initial design, which you can then refine with further feedback.

Intranets

Basically these are very handy ‘internal' websites, which help your team organise and share information. Your team will access an intranet from your office network – it is not accessible by the public from the internet (though your team can be given permission to access it over the internet from outside your office, if you wish). Intranets are web based systems – for when you find a manual system or existing software a little too inflexible. For example, if Outlook Contacts or the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) application ACT! doesn't quite do what you need handling all your customer information and contact – we would show you an example of a similar web based intranet we have developed for other clients, so you can tell us if it fits the bill and whether you want one for your business.

 

We only develop our intranets using Microsoft's SharePoint system – which is very powerful and allows us to create cost-effective solutions very quickly. The latest version of SharePoint offers enhanced integration between all Microsoft Office applications (e.g. Word, Excel) - providing a seamless portal for your entire business
