A computer that can tell what you like by examining your brain activity has broken onto the marketing scene and counts Microsoft and PayPal has satisfied customers. Neurofocus Europe makes its volunteers wear a hat which monitors what they really think and what turns them on while they show them adverts.
The company then makes suggestions to the client (Microsoft et al) on how to change the advert to make it more compelling or make people actually more likely to buy the product.

Within a few years the idea of scanning your eye and thus providing tailored adverts (akin to Minority Report) may seem a little dated, and instead the adverts will target and change to what ‘pushes your button’.
