Quicker PDFs without the warnings
After installing an update for Acrobat on the 3rd computer this week I was compelled to find something that was quicker, more secure and less annoying. I found exactly what I was looking for with FoxIT Reader, the better PDF experience.
As you read this Adobe Acrobat is probably sitting patiently waiting for you to give it a PDF to open meanwhile it’s occasionally checking with Adobe for updates, using up some of your memory and generally making a background nuisance of itself.
It’s also not just slowdown you have to worry about, but security, Adobe have put so many features into Acrobat that its constantly having to patch security holes with F-Secure this week advising users to switch to something safer.
If you’re tired of dismissing the Acrobat popup, then get yourself over to FoxIT for a safer way to read you PDF Acrobat documents.
