For those of you fortunate enough to be using FireFox then you already have a spell checker, all you need to do is install the dictionary of choice from here https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/browse/type:3. For those of you languishing on Internet Explorer the you can get FireFox from here http://www.getfirefox.com

If you’re in happy Microsoft land and just want to know where “i before e except after c” doesn’t apply then get yourself over to http://www.iespell.com/ it’s a lovely free of charge spell checker that works with pretty much any version of IE, uses little resources and works just like the spell check in Microsoft Word
