Internet Speeds Make a Double Jump
The fastest possible connection on the internet has since 1996 been 10 gigabit per second (10Gbps), this is roughly 1000 times faster than a decent business connection. France to Germany though now has a connection 10 times faster than this thanks to some clever engineering from Verizion.
Meanwhile more applicably for Londoners, BT have launched their new internet connection ‘Infinity. This uses fibre rather than copper to the cabinet and offers speed increases of up to 20 times at a similar or lower cost to standard broadband.
