Thinking of migrating? - from Quark to InDesign

Quark to InDesign for Magazines

This unique course is designed to make a magazine's transition from Quark to InDesign as smooth as possible. It's a 3 day course, with each day building on the understanding of the previous day. As we anticipate the needs of a Sub being different from an Art Director, they would only come on the first day. Designers would come on the first two days, and people needing an input into the whole process (like Art Directors and Editors) would need to come on the third day:

The Intro course is aimed with subs and writers in mind, focusing mainly on their needs, but also giving a broader view of how InDesign approaches magazine layout.

The Advanced course builds on that understanding, filling out knowledge of the programme and providing more ways of working creatively. It's more specifically intended for designers, editors, art editors etc.

The Troubleshooting course is for those who might be making more overall decisions on how InDesign will be used across the magazines. There will be time to explore some of the more complex and powerful features of the programme so that their use and implementation can be properly considered. In addition there will be time to look at common problems that users face, and ways to solve them.

Website accessibility

disabled iconWeb accessibility is about making your website accessible to all Internet users (both disabled and non-disabled), regardless of what browsing technology they're using. In addition to complying with the law, an accessible website can reap huge benefits for your website and your business.
